Cisco GLC-SX-MM-AS Overview
Cisco GLC-SX-MM-AS is a module transceiver. This product is a small from factor pluggable module(SFP). GLC-SX-MM-AS module compatible with 1 Gbps for Gigabit Ethernet to the length of 550m. The Cisco designed for Network app to connect Routers , Switches and etc. GLC-SX-MM-AS design for 850 nm wavelength.
The GLC-SX-MM-AS includes Duplex LC connector. This module is suitable for connecting switches, routers and other network devices in short distances using multi-mode optical fiber cables. It includes 0 to 70°C Operating Temperature which may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer. This module is usually used in enterprise environments and data centers to connect network switches, routers and other network devices through multi-mode fiber optic cables. Due to its reliance on multimode fiber, it is suitable for short-haul applications. GLC-SX-MM-AS includes features such as hot-swappable capability, this feature makes it possible to connect or disconnect the device from the switch or router without turning off the device and ensure the interruption of the network service. Cisco SFP Module supports to Up to 550 meters on 50/125 µm multimode fiber, and up to 220 meters on 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber.
