The Cisco Catalyst 3560-CG Compact Switches are small form-factor Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet switches designed for deployments outside the wiring closet. This WS-C3560CG-8PC-S offers eight Gigabit Ethernet PoE(+) ports and two dual uplinks. The Cisco WS-C3560CG-8PC-S switch has notable features such as 8 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit ports with PoE+ capability and 2 SFP ports for connecting fiber optic modules. With PoE+ support, it can power devices like IP cameras and IP phones, providing up to 124 watts of PoE power in total.

Unlike regular PoE switches that deliver a maximum of 12.9 watts per port, the Cisco WS-C3560CG-8PC-S can supply more power, making it suitable for devices that require higher power. This switch operates at Layer 3, allowing IP address assignment to each port.
