Cisco VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE Overview
VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE is a dual port audio interface card for routers.
This router has the ability to be compatible with different routers, and this causes the installation of that product.
This card includes two BRI interfaces that support ISDN (Intergeated Service Digital Network) connection. Also, this module has the ability to support voice and data and allows users to receive and transmit data and voice. This feature also reduces costs. VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE is a module used to configure and manage Voice over IP (VoIP) services on Cisco routers. This card has two Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ports that support ISDN telephone services.
The Cisco dual-port audio interface card requires a 5V dc power supply and a maximum power of 4.5W for each port, if both ports are used at the same time, the total power consumption of the card will be 9W. The VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE card requires a Cisco router or switch that supports inline power to provide the required power supply.If the router or switch does not support line power, an external power source must be used.
