Cisco NM-NAM Overview

Cisco NM-NAM with 1 x Console Management is a Wireless Network Module Router card. This card does not include an external console port.

To access the NAM console, open a NAM console session from the router, or you can use Telnet or SSH into the network. The internal NAM interface is the Fast Ethernet interface on the NM-NAM that connects to the Analysis-Module interface on the router.

The Fast Ethernet interface is on the NM-NAM board. The NAM external interface supports data requests and data transfers from external sources and provides direct connection to the LAN through an RJ-45 connector. All external NAM interface configuration and management is done from the NAM software. It supports SNMP v1/2c RMON v1/2 protocols and 3° to 104°F (0° to 40°C)  Operating Temperature. It includes 0 to 10,000 ft (0 to 3,000 m) Operating altitude and 10 Megabits Per Second Data Transfer Rate , NM-NAM 20 GB IDE Internal disk storage and -40° to 185°F (-40° to 85°C) Nonoperating temperature.
