Cisco HWIC-2FE Overview

HWIC-2FE Router High-Speed WAN Interface card Plug-in module 2 x RJ-45 10/100Base-TX has 10 Mbps Ethernet , 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet that this Router Card Includes Ethernet routing ports and internal LAN interfaces for router integrated services platforms. Additional features of this product are IGMP, HSRP, GLBP, MPLS, GRE, IPv6, IPsec, L2TPv3, DHCP, NAT, GTS, MGCP, IBM, PPPoE, Bridging. HWIC-2FE supports ENTITY-MIB, IF-MIB, OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB, RMON-MIB, ETHERLIKE-MIB, CISCO-ENT-ASSET-MIB, CISCO-ENTITY-FRU-CONTROL-MIB.

This router transmits data at a speed of 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps. Programs such as video conferencing, transferring large files, etc., which require fast data transfer, use this feature.
By combining Cisco routers, this module can add to its infrastructure capabilities, be cost-effective, and have easy scalability.
It includes -4 to 149°F (-20 to 65°C) Storage temperature and 10 to 90%, noncondensing Relative humidity.
These Routers supports EN300386, EN55024 and CISPR24, EN50082-1 Immunity and TCP/IP, L2TP, PPPoE Network/Transport Protocol.
It also supports security features such as Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) capabilities that enable secure communication between the router and remote networks. This card is used with other Cisco software components to provide network infrastructure.
