Cisco GLC-LH-SM Overview

Cisco GLC-LH-SM 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP is for multi-mode and single-mode fibers. Compliant with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX standard, the 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP operates over standard single-mode fiber optic link spans of up to 10 km and up to 550 meters per multimode fiber. When older multimode fiber is used, the transmitter must be coupled via a mode conditioning patch cable.
