The Router card Wide Area Network includes 8-port Cisco Gigabit Ether Switch 10/100/1000BASE-TX autosensing EHWIC with POE , which is used for ISR2 series 1900, 2900 and 3900 routers. The Router card is capable of enabling Cisco brand-leading energy initiatives and monitoring the power of each Power over Ethernet (POE) port .  Gigabit Ethernet EHWICs provide a fully integrated, secure network and converged IP communications. You can use a platform and an integrated switch. Connect IP phones, wireless access points and IP-based cameras to your network. These routers can provide call processing for phones.
Gigabit Ethernet EHWIC uses IEEE 802.1x to authenticate end devices and assign users to VLANs. The Router includes 0.8 in x 6.2 in x 4.8 in Dimensions.

This product supports IEEE 02.1Q Trunking , IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree , IEEE 802.1x port-based and multiple supplicant , IEEE 802.3af (15.4W) , IEEE 802.1p.
The Router has 6.88 oz weight , 1 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet. It supports 16-64 VLANs (platform dependent).
