This router has a Quad-core 2.13Ghz processor.On  1000 Series 5-Gbps ESP (ASR1000-ESP5) with up to 1.8-Gbps crypto support throughput and on Cisco ASR 1000 Series 10-Gbps ESP (ASR1000-ESP10) with up to 4-Gbps crypto support throughput. Wired Connectivity Technology and 20G System Bandwidth. This router enables advanced services to run at high speed without the need for hardware or blades.
Features like QoS(quality Of Service), crypto, and access control lists (ACLs) are processed in hardware.The ASR1002 should be configured with some modules and accessories for normal operation
