The Router is a voice router that is designed to integrate voice and data. This router provides excellent voice services for organizations with its advanced capabilities. The audio router also provides high-performance audio switching, routing, and gateway functions in one platform.
This router includes high-speed processors and enough memory to manage voice and data traffic.
Management of routers is done with Command Service Visual Interface (CLI) and management tools. These tools make network management tasks easier by providing capabilities such as configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting. The Router has 3 integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports with 2 ports capable of RJ-45 or SFP connectivity and 1G Memory for and 256 MB flash memory for installed.
It includes 4 service module slots , 1 Internal Services Module slot , 4 onboard digital signal processor (DSP) slots ,4 Enhanced High-Speed WAN Interface Card (EHWIC) slots.
The Cisco 3945 fully integrates its power distribution with all modules that support 802.3af PoE (Power over Ethernet).
