Router 2901 1RU includes 2 integrated 10/100/1000 ports and 2 GB of RAM memory and 8 GB of flash memory. It has 100 to 240 VAC auto.
Router has 4 enhanced high-speed WAN interface card slots and 2 onboard digital signal processor (DSP) slots.DSP or Digital Signal Processor modules are responsible for processing sound information, sound compression, encryption and converting analog packets into digital packets. This Router has 2 DSP slots.
This module uses DSP with high density to optimize sound and image. Support for Cisco Communications Manager Express and Survivable Remote Site Telephony.
The Cisco 2900 series has the ability to be deployed simultaneously in high-speed WAN environments. Also, these routers can activate services up to 75 Mbps. Other features of these routers include module-to-module communication with high bandwidth without compromising routing performance.The 2901 Routers have 13.4 lb (6.1kg) weight with AC power supply (No Modules).
Cisco 2901 support Embedded HardwareBased Cryptography and Acceleration and AC and PoE Power-Supply Options . This Router do’nt support of RPS.
